PA's 2020 Managed Care Quality Strategy

The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services is announcing the availability of its draft 2020 Managed Care Quality Strategy (MCQS) for review and comment. The MCQS is required by federal regulation to be updated every three years and to be made available for public comment. 

The MCQS serves as a blueprint for ensuring quality in each of Pennsylvania’s managed care programs, including Physical HealthChoices, Behavioral HealthChoices, Community HealthChoices, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and the Adult Community Autism Program. The 2020 draft of the MCQS is available online; the 2017 version of the MCQS is also available online for reference and comparison.  

On October 10, 2020, a 30-day public comment period will be announced in the Pennsylvania Bulletin. You are receiving this email to provide advance notice of that opportunity to comment.
