Dom Care Consultant Opportunity

Lancaster County Office of Aging and Behavioral Health and Developmental Services are hiring for a Part Time Domiciliary Care Consultant Position.  Duties include certifying new Domiciliary Care homes, completing annual inspections, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of PA Domiciliary Care Regulations, meeting with staff to discuss issues, and timely completion of agreements, certificates, forms, and other required documentation.  Training provided.

 

Minimum requirements include:  

  • One-year experience in public or private social work, or Human Services Field, and a Bachelor’s Degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 semester hours credit in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other related social sciences; or…
  • A Bachelor’s Degree with a social welfare major; or…
  • Any equivalent combination of experiences and training including successful completion of 12 semester hours credit in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social sciences.


Request for Quotations will be received by the Lancaster County Office of Aging, 150 N. Queen St, Suite 415, Lancaster, PA 17603 until 5:00 PM on October 14, 2020; to provide CONSULTANT – DOMICILIARY CARE.   Details and requirements are found within the bid documents.
