BHDS COVID-19 Related Update

Below is a summary of our revised business practices during this health crisis. Case managers and supports coordinators and management staff are still available by phone and email.


  • Crisis Intervention Services via call center only, no face to face contact with public on site or in the community
  • Fiscal/management support of agency
  • Clerical support of routing phone calls to services and departments
  • Maintaining of electronic health records


  • Intakes - Mental Health, Early Intervention and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities intakes will be done over the phone if possible.
  • Phone support to people open with Mental Health Case Management, IDD Supports Coordination and EI Supports Coordination.
  • Intellectual Disabilities’ incident management investigations via phone or electronic communication.
  • Providing Intellectual Disabilities Administrative Entity oversight.
  • All external meetings will be done via electronic communication.


  • Face to face contact by all services whether on site or in the community. Our case managers and supports coordinators will still provide assistance with accessing food and other critical service/resource needs of people in services as available
  • Physical attendance of any external meetings
