How Do I Access Early Intervention Services?

Early Intervention is intended to reduce the impact of developmental delays on a child.

A child birth to age three is eligible for Early intervention supports if he or she has a 25% delay in any major area of development.

An assessment is done by a team of child development specialists who visit the child in the home. If the child is eligible, an EI supports coordinator then helps the family create an Individualized Family Service Plan which details supports the child will receive. For more information call the Early Intervention at 717-399-7323.
